Spanish Speaking Instructor Now On Staff Circuit Technology, Inc. offers certifications in our custom designed solder training courses as well as Certified IPC Trainer (CIT) and Certified IPC Specialist (CIS) certifications in IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001, and IPC 7711/7721. The 610 and JSTD-001 have been upgraded to the Revision D to include the lead free soldering criteria and as a result we touch on the lead free soldering requirements in all our classes. We also have a 2 day lead free hands on soldering class to further emphasize the criteria. CTI will customize courses for specific needs as requested. In addition, we also offer consulting services in all areas of the electronic assembly, repair, rework, and modification process. All of our solder training classes can be taught onsite at your facility if needed. We can customize most of the classes to accommodate special requirements that you may have. Obviously for the IPC certified classes we must follow IPC guidelines, but at the same time with our vast experience with IPC and knowledge of the real world of soldering we are usually able to adapt these classes to meet your specific needs.

Our new and improved Lead Free Solder Training gives students hands on experience with lead free components, lead free solders and different types of lead free circuit boards. The students attending this solder training course can experience first hand the differences that lead free soldering brings to the industry. This solder training also covers the IPC 610 D and J-STD-001 D lead free solder criteria to help the students further understand the inspection criteria as it applies to the lead free solder joints. Additional discussions include the changes that must occur in the automated production lines to accommodate a change to lead free. All of our training classes can be taught onsite at your facility if needed. We can customize most of the classes to accommodate special requirements that you may have.
